Four raptors, four hunting styles
The eagle is the big soaring hunter and a national emblem. The hawk is the one most people see circling over fields and highways. The falcon has long pointed wings built for speed, and the owl hunts at night with a flat facial disc that funnels sound to its ears. Raptor art is used for school mascots, wildlife-center signs, falconry and birding prints, and patriotic designs.
